Greek Mezedes


Another of Our "Last Sunday of the Month" Special Dinners

This Month on Sunday the 27th of May we are planning a dinner of Greek Mezedes. Mezedes are like Spanish Tapas—small plates of a variety of preparations—only Greek style. If you were ordering in a Greek Taverna, you would be ordering several small plates shared by all at the table. Chef Maegen will prepare a selection of traditional Mezedes you’ll enjoy sharing. It will be a great time—also a part of Greek dining.

Greek food is a favorite of the Lorings. We like the flavors, the simplicity of preparation, the freshness of the ingredients, the variety, the casual dining, the good company, the Mediterranean ambiance and all else that goes with Greek eating, of course that includes wine. To complete the experience we will have a few Greek and Greek style wines offered by the glass or bottle to recommend with the Mezedes.

To help create the Greek ambiance we will open early—3:30 P.M. and encourage everyone to come and dine on the patio. Finally, it’s that time of year and what a great way to jump start the Summer. Put away your barbeque, forget the Indy 500, spend Sunday of Memorial Weekend at the Park…Restaurant.
